I was seriously unproductive today, unless you count soaking up various forms of media. I'm all caught up with my recorded shows, rented DVDs, and latest blockbuster movies.
1. Full Metal Alchemist - just finished the 3rd disc, and I'm getting more intrigued. Not quite attached yet, but I told myself that I would try out the entire first series.
2. Howl's Moving Castle - I really, really liked it a lot. Not quite as compelling as Spirited Away, but beautiful animation, a very sweet main female character, and enough strangeness to keep me engaged.
3. X3 - Since I'm too lazy/tired for details, I liked it. Not as much as the previous 2 films, but it was very enjoyable. I wish every movie could have a bit of Ian McKellan.
4. Lost season finale - Yep, I had skipped everyone's review. To be honest, not up to its usual crack standards. I'm still interested though.
5. Dr. Who - I think this may have been last week's? I have it on auto-record on Tivo, and finally got around to seeing it. Always a fun, cheesy romp.
In between me sitting on my ass watching tv, I scored some groceries, a new ice chest (since ours disappeared), and some beach toys for tomorrow's
hp_orangecounty meetup. If you're going, I'll be the one with the kids in tow, along with enough equipment for a small army.
